We entered a pitch competition a few weeks ago with Title Nine and part of the grand prize is that you get to sell your items in one of their stores! The store we got to sell at is on Berkeley’s Fourth Street which is a pretty popular area with shops and restaurants. The store did an amazing job decorating with balloons and passing out flyers so that customers would know that we were selling in their store. We joined 2 other girl-run shops in setting up our items upstairs in the loft. It was really interesting to see how it would feel to sell our stuff in a real store – maybe one day we’ll have a duck+chick store!
